Our girls have climbed the top!
Maria Hitrikova (Ukraine) and Alexander (Ola) Jik (Poland) on July 22 reached the summit of Gasherbrum II. And they have the strength to go down to 9 pm at Camp 3, despite the deep snow and severe fatigue.
Girls, we are proud of you! Congratulations!!!!!

19.07. Again bad weather but we are planning to go up! Ternua Female Team - Gasherbrums 2011
Second day of snowstorm in C1. Above 7000m constant roar of jet-stream. We want to try, but it seems that again we're preparing the road for crowd waiting in BC

12.07. Ternua Female Team- Gasherbrums 2011 at Base Camp
From RussianClimb:
Information from the expedition arrives very late. It is known that the July 12 girls descended to Base Camp pushing throug deep snow, "the soul on his shoulder" they said. They had to pull the rope out from under the snow almost meter deep. The next day in the sun there was a meeting of expeditions on fixed ropes - well, as it is now on Everest, K2, ....
In fact girls with Jacek equipped with fixed ropes half of the route and now they were asked about something additional.... Of course they did not come to any agreements....

11.07. Waiting for better weather in the C2 Ternua Female Team - Gasherbrums 2011
about 12:.00 Jacek wrote in the SMS:
"Expected good weather is late by 2 days now. We're out of food, and ther's no one coming from BC to C2. It's time to descend, "all" we need is to overcome loads of fresh snow."
Thanks again to Naj Iksworomok for translation from Polish
