Starting from the Base Camp at 20:15, Andrzej reached at 2:30 Camp 3. This is a very good pace. There was Sherpa waited him with hot tea. The wind was already too strong to continue acsent - it was too dangerous. They decided to wait until morning to go down. So this attempt failed.
September 8 evening Andrzej started his speed acsent of Lhotze.
The team planned to have summit push on September 8, but, reaching Camp 3, climbers were faced extremly strong wind. It was decided to go down to BC and wait for more apropriate weather.
At the same time Andrzej Bargel , decided not t change his plans, and started from the base camp at 8:15 pm on Oct. 8. The first 4 hours before him walked Sherpa Tensing.

Lhotse speed climb: Andrzej hopes to set the record on 8000-er
