VII International Elbrus Race готовится для вас!
Ежегодные соревнования по скоростному восхождению на Эльбрус International Elbrus Race пройдут 26 августа - 2 сентября. Гонка, целью которой является подъем на самую высокую вершину Европы, стала не только отличным спортивным мероприятием, но и приятным событием в районе Эльбруса - замечательным курортным горным районом Кабардино-Балкарии. Эти международные соревнования каждую осень становятся хорошим праздником как для спортсменов, так и для местных жителей, а также источником позитивных новостей с Кавказа.

"KATMANDU, Nepal, May 4— Eduard Myslovsky and Vladimir Balyberdin today became the first Russians to climb Mount Everest, the Nepalese Tourism Ministry announced. Mr. Myslovsky, 44 years old, of Moscow and Mr. Balyberdin, 32, of Leningrad reached the top of the 29,028-foot-high peak this afternoon and stayed 30 minutes before beginning their descent, the ministry said."

He was the founder of independent sports competitions on Elbrus speed climbing, and that tradition is continued by International Elbrus Race competition.

Boris Korshunov again at Himalaya!!
Permanent competitor of International Elbrus Race Boris Korshunov in his nearly 77 years went to the Himalayas to climb to the summit height 7500 m. Unfortunately, he could not pronounce its name. Boris is enthusiastic and confident of success. In August/September 2012, he is going to take part in the race to Elbrus. Good luck Boris!
